Areolas

Areola micropigmentation is an aesthetic procedure that involves applying pigments to the skin to recreate the appearance of a breast areola. This procedure is performed in order to improve the aesthetic appearance of the breast after breast reconstruction surgery or in cases of loss of pigmentation due to illness or injury.

During the procedure, a needle is used to deposit pigments into the skin, creating a natural and realistic appearance of the areola. The color and shape are carefully selected to match the tone and shape of the other areola.

Areola micropigmentation is a safe and effective procedure that can significantly improve the self-esteem and confidence of people who have suffered a loss of pigmentation or had breast reconstruction surgery.

What products do you recommend for aftercare/healing?

I recommend the Balm Micro Eyebrows balm for eyebrows, Lips for lips also has a balm with sun protection that is perfectly suitable for use. Apply a thin layer of the product whenever your lips or eyebrows feel dry. They are 100% Vegan products.

Can I put on makeup after my treatment?

You should avoid any makeup on the treated area during the healing phase. You can return to using makeup on the treated area once it has completely healed.

I suffer from cold sores, can I have lip micropigmentation?

Yes, you can get a lip treatment. While Lip Blush can cause a cold sore outbreak, it is very rare. I recommend all my clients start taking the L-lysine supplement a week before their appointment to prevent cold sores. For clients who are prone to cold sores, I advise taking an antiviral medication from your doctor 5 days before the appointment. Blisters can cause the color to come off in those areas, so take this extra precaution to prevent this from happening.

WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?

Lip Blush (also known as Lip Tattoo or Permanent Lipstick) is a professional cosmetic and aesthetic procedure that uses a machine similar to a tattoo machine to implant colour pigment (of the client's choice) into the dermis of the lips, resulting in fuller and more defined looking lips.
