Micropigmentation

Micropigmentation is a specialty within the field of aesthetics whose purpose is to beautify, correct or improve certain features of the body anatomy, both male and female.

The treatment consists of the implantation of pigment at the dermal level to provide color and shape to various parts of the body such as eyes, lips, eyebrows, scalp and chest.

Is permanent makeup safe?

Permanent makeup is predominantly safe. However, people with certain medical conditions should avoid undergoing these procedures unless cleared by their doctor. These can include diabetes, lupus, autoimmune diseases, and certain heart conditions, especially for those who have a pacemaker. It's always best to be safe, so talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. But most people enjoy our beautification procedures without any problems.

What happens if I have allergies?

Allergies to permanent makeup are rare. All of our inks are medical grade (non-toxic), vegan and hypoallergenic. However, allergic reactions may be triggered in some people by the use of metals in the needle, certain tattoo pigments containing metals, and lidocaine. Most people with allergies, including those to food, skin sensitivities, and seasonal issues, are perfectly fine with permanent makeup procedures. But because your well-being is our primary concern, we recommend that you talk to your doctor about any allergy-related issues.

How long does it last?

Results last 1 to 3 years for Powder Brows and Lip Blush. A one-year touch-up to refresh color is recommended for all permanent makeup procedures.

How long does it take to heal?

Clients will need 3 to 5 weeks for their skin to regenerate. Once completely healed, clients can come in for their touch-up appointments which are 40 to 60 days away.
